Hey! My name is Maleigh Henderson and I'm a designer, photographer, marketer, entrepreneur, videographer, and social media manager. Indecisive about my passion or well rounded? I'll let you decide.

I have earned a Bachelors of Global Business and Digital Arts at the University of Waterloo where I've learned a multitude of skills as a designer. Throughout those four years I had the opportunity to work in teams and design apps, create videos, and develop businesses and their marketing plans. All while understanding the ethics behind our work and the value of purpose and storytelling behind our work. I even had the opportunity to study abroad in the Netherlands for a term! From here I've been able to hone into my specific design style with impactful calls to action and purpose through strong imagery and typography.

In the past year my work experience in the digital arts industry has blossomed immensely and I have loved every second! I have been fortunate to have maintained a constant stream of freelance clients stemming from previous employment opportunities in web design, photography, and social media management.

I grew up in the very small town of Bridgetown, Nova Scotia where opportunities in digital art are hard to come by, so I'm beyond grateful for the experiences I've been able to have. I'm currently working as a Marketing Coordinator at Triangle Fluid Controls Ltd. where I manage multiple social media channels, design industry literature pages, create videos, present to stakeholders, hosting a podcast, and supporting in house with whatever is needed! My favourite project thus far has been the Behind the Seal Podcast where I suggested a "Women in the Sealing Industry" interview to be released on International Women's Day, assigning impact and purpose to this project beyond its initial release. Additionally, I have led the work on a very successful campaign that launched in August exploring uses of social media, video ads, and e-newsletters.
